2023年から2024年のこれまでのところ、世界のリスク資産は好調に推移していますが、地政学的背景は依然として暗いです。トランプ大統領が勝利すれば、米国は1年以内に世界的な貿易ショックを引き起こす可能性があり、そうでなければ米国は依然として中国に対してタカ派の通商・ハイテク政策を追求すると予想されます。中東では、イランの核脅威により、イスラエル・ハマス戦争にとどまらず、根本的に不安定化しています。更に、ウクライナ情勢の膠着状態とは関係なく、ロシアと欧米諸国との対立は欧州を脅かすと予想されます。

While risky global assets performed well in 2023 and thus far in 2024, the geopolitical backdrop remains gloomy. The US could trigger a global trade shock in less than a year, if President Trump wins, and if not, the US will still pursue a hawkish trade and tech policy against China. The Middle East is fundamentally destabilizing, beyond the Israel-Hamas war, due to Iran’s nuclear breakout. And Russia’s conflict with the West will threaten Europe regardless of stalemate in Ukraine.
BCA’s Chief Geopolitical and US Political Strategist, Matt Gertken will present his 2024 Outlook and discuss the impact GeoRisks will have on markets.
