Conducting an effective internal investigation can be critical in helping a company (1) determine whether it has a significant legal or compliance problem, (2) remediate internal and external issues, (3) enhance controls and processes to minimize the chances of recurrence of problematic conduct, and (4) reduce the likelihood or impact of prosecutorial or regulatory interest. During this 90-minute webinar, lawyers from Norton Rose Fulbright will discuss practical considerations, strategies, and common pitfalls when determining who should conduct and oversee an internal investigation, scoping an investigation, performing the factual development and analysis, and concluding the investigation in a manner that effectively satisfies internal constituents and any relevant external parties.
