＜概要／Summary＞
昨今多くの企業が再生可能エネルギーの導入を進めており、今後さらなる加速が予想されます。過去10年間に急増した世界の再生可能エネルギーによる発電量は、従来の電源による発電量の8倍のペースで伸びており、世界の発電量（「パワーミックス」）に占める再生可能エネルギーの割合は2011年の20%から2020年には29%へと大幅に拡大しました。エネルギー企業や石油・ガス会社は好機や需要、公共政策を受け積極的に投資を行ってきており、再生可能エネルギープレミアムもまた新しい市場や技術への投資を後押ししています。
本セミナーでは、エネルギー企業や石油・ガス会社がエネルギー転換に際し直面する課題や可能性について、実例に基づく考察を行います。主要な業界プレーヤーが行っている取組みや脱炭素化に向けて直面する問題点についても事例を交えて解説します。

The transition to renewable energy is well underway and is positioned to accelerate. Global renewable electricity generation soared over the past decade, outpacing the growth of electricity generated by traditional sources by 8x, and meaningfully expanding renewables’ share of global electricity generation (“the power mix”) from 20% in 2011 to 29% in 2020. Spurred by opportunity, changing and more informed demand, and public policy, traditional energy companies and oil and gas players have begun to pour investment into renewables over the past decade, with the renewables premium driving significant investments into new markets and new technologies.
Our panel of experts will provide real-life, valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing traditional energy companies, and oil and gas players, as they position themselves for this transition. They will provide practical examples of what key industry players are doing in this space, and to highlight the issues faced by them in the move towards decarbonization.
The panel of experts will touch upon emerging industry trends, both at a regional and a global level, review different investment strategies and provide case-studies of investments into renewable projects in the United States and elsewhere by leading energy companies and private capital.
