トルコは自動車、白物家電、テレビなどの国内・欧州むけ製造拠点として確立しているが、近年、携帯電話についても中国TCL、韓国サムスンなど多くのメーカーがスマートフォンを製造しており、半導体の需要が大きくなってきている。自動車ではフォードの商用EVに続き、純国産のEVメーカーTOGGによる製造販売も今年本格化しており、様々な種類の半導体の需要が見込まれる。
トルコのこのような新たな製造拠点としての展開を踏まえ、同国の半導体関連産業の現状と見通しについて、トルコ共和国大統領府投資局のセクター担当者からご紹介する。

Ahmet Diler

Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Investment Office
Ahmet Diler was born in 1994, graduated from Boğaziçi University with a bachelor’s degree of political science and international relations in 2017.
Ahmet Diler has been working for the Investment Office since September 2019 as a project manager responsible for information and communication technologies under the sectoral and strategic analysis directorate. In charge of ICT Program of the Investment Office that oversees greenfield technology investments and R&D center projects. Provides business and regulatory assistance to companies; addresses their business facilitation requests for licenses, permits, infrastructure developments, incentives, and site assessments. As the lead ICT expert, he worked in designing industry strategy for promoting the industry and attracting investment, presenting industry opportunities to international investors across target countries.
Prior to joining Investment Office, Ahmet Diler worked in KPMG Türkiye office M&A Tax Consultant and provided advisory services to clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, and other acquisitions activities.
